Day 1

Morning arrival into Baltimore International Airport

Meet your travel concierge, Jenny Kerr Schroen at the Gate. She will be the one holding the CQD sign as you arrive into BWI.

Board the shuttle towards your refreshing coastal hotel-
The Hyatt Chesapeake Bay

After checking in to your room, feel free to freshen up, rest or explore the beautiful grounds the hotel has to offer. In your rooms, you will find your welcome bag containing the training attire needed for the next three days.

12:00-12:30 PM

Lunch is served at the hotel

1:00-4:00 PM

Board the shuttle for the drive to CQD headquarters, called “The Eagle” located in Vienna, Maryland.

Meet the most influential tactical trainer in the world and also the founder of CQD, Duane Dieter, upon your arrival.

Have a debreifing of the plan and begin with some stretching and then begin the pre-hoods. In this section the trainers can begin to understand who you are are what your previous training might be. There is no shame in having very little background skills, all ages and ability levels are welcomed. CQD is not strictly about physical prowess. It can be easily learned and implemented by all.

After the completion of the initial hood drills and post evaluation. Follow former Navy Seal and lead instructor Jason in learning the most basic techniques: your stance. Progress from there to move onto other Direct Defense Skills (DDS) to set the foundation for the rest of your week.

4:30pm

Board the shuttle for the short drive back to the Hyatt.

Rest and Relax on your trip back. Once arriving to the hotel, freshen up and rest in your room before dinner.

6:30pm

Dinner will begin at 7:00.
